Frank DiLeo is an Associate Attorney at Angelini & DiLeo, where he provides unwavering advocacy and strategic counsel in complex family law and corporate litigation matters. Known for his tenacity in litigation and sharp legal acumen, Frank is a steadfast defender of his clients' rights, bringing a results-driven approach to high-conflict divorce, asset division, spousal maintenance, and child custody disputes as well as breach of contract, business tort, foreclosure, and other commercial actions. His ability to analyze intricate financial and parental matters with precision, combined with his exceptional legal writing and meticulous research skills, enable him to develop compelling legal arguments and achieve favorable outcomes for his clients and positions him as a formidable advocate both in and out of the courtroom.



After initially joining Angelini & DiLeo as an Associate Attorney, Frank returned to the firm in 2025 after gaining invaluable experience serving as a Division Attorney for the Presiding Judge of Cook County’s Domestic Relations Division, where he played a pivotal role in assisting esteemed judges with extensive legal research, written orders, and memorandums of opinion covering various family law and civil procedural issues such as: enforcement of premarital agreements, unallocated support and arrearages, and motions to reconsider. Frank is widely respected across the legal community for his professionalism, integrity, and legal excellence, and he has cultivated a reputation as a skilled negotiator and relentless litigator who delivers favorable outcomes for his clients.


Beyond his legal expertise, Frank is recognized for his empathy and emotional resilience, understanding that family law cases and business actions often involve deeply personal and emotionally charged situations. He balances aggressive advocacy with a client-centered approach, ensuring his clients receive not only strong representation but also the guidance and support needed during some of life’s most challenging moments. His business savvy and strategic mindset allow him to navigate complex financial matters, including high-net-worth asset division and business valuations, ensuring that his clients’ financial futures remain secure.


A native of Elmhurst, Frank attended Saint Ignatius College Prep in Chicago before continuing his football career as a walk-on for the Penn State Nittany Lions. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Penn State’s Smeal College of Business, where he co-founded the Fifth Quarter Program, designed to assist student-athletes in transitioning successfully from high school to college and beyond. During his collegiate career, Frank was a Letterman and earned multiple Academic All-Big Ten honors.


As a recipient of the Letterman’s Club Scholarship, Frank had the opportunity to pursue a master’s degree at the University of Nottingham in England, where he earned a Master’s in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Management. He later returned home to obtain his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, formerly the John Marshall Law School, where he was an active member of the Justinian Society of Lawyers and the Mock Trial and Dispute Resolution Team. Frank was admitted to the Illinois Bar in November 2023.


Outside of the firm, Frank remains actively involved in the Justinian Society of Lawyers and the Saint Ignatius College Prep Law Society. He can often be found on the sidelines at Saint Ignatius football games or in the pizza room of his family’s restaurant in Elmhurst.
