About

Tom took pride in the practice of law and was a fond colleague and mentor. Tom was devoted to his passion for law and left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Tom was a mainstay in the halls of the courthouse, where his sartorial style was always impeccable. Stories in memory of Tom often share the same sentiment illustrating Tom’s booming personality, unique vernacular, captivating presence, and his desire to give everyone “a beatin”.

For more than 30 years, Tom was an expert litigator and trusted advisor to his clients with demonstrated success in the areas of criminal and family law as well as complex civil litigation matters. Tom was not only a practicing attorney for many years, but also the former Director of Administrative Hearings at the Illinois Secretary of State, a member of the Justinian Society for Italian American Attorneys, and a Board Member for the Italian American Political Coalition. But most importantly, Tom was a fierce protector of those he cared about, and a man modern society seemingly no longer produces.

Tom had the remarkable ability to leave a lasting impression wherever he went, whether in the courtroom or any other space. His larger-than-life personality left an impact on everyone he met. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
